Thank you for choosing our products. We make every effort to provide our customers with decorative elements of the highest quality. We would like to draw your attention to some important issues related to preparation, purchase and installation to ensure maximum satisfaction with the final result.

Preparation of materials: Before installing the product, please measure the installation area carefully, and carefully calculate the amount of materials and construction chemicals needed. In the case of tiles, it is advisable to purchase approximately 10% more material in order to take into account any trimming at the floor, ceiling and corners.

Colours: Our products, such as decorative stone and brick-like tiles, may vary slightly in colour and dimensions. These differences are due to the production process, which gives each decking a natural and unique character.

Recommendation for one-off purchase: In order to maintain colour uniformity, we recommend purchasing the necessary quantity of the product (tiles, upholstered panels or wall slats) once only, as Stegu sp. z o.o. does not accept claims resulting from differences in shades in batches purchased at a later date.

Selection and installation of upholstered panels: For the best visual effect, always combine upholstered panels covered with one fabric or from one collection. Before installation, we recommend a test layout on the floor to check the aesthetics of the layout as well as the uniform arrangement of the pile (for velvet fabrics) or striations (for corduroy fabrics).

Verification before installation: The products must be carefully checked before installation. Stegu sp. z o.o. does not accept complaints related to the size and colour of the products after installation.

Substrate preparation: The surface to which the product will be applied must be suitably seasoned, load-bearing, stable, uniform, as well as even, dry and cleaned of any impurities such as paint, release agents or grease.

Installation instructions: Please read the instructions on the product packaging and adapt to the recommendations before installing.

Colours vs lighting: The ‘live’ colour perception of the products may vary depending on:

    • the light source (natural / artificial),
    • the intensity and colour of the light (warm / neutral / cold),
    • the angle of incidence of the light on the product.

Colours in printed and electronic materials: The product colours shown on the website, social media and in catalogues are for illustrative purposes only. Every effort is made to faithfully reproduce the colours of our products, but the final perception may vary depending on the printing technique used and individual monitor settings.

We hope these tips will help you get the best results. Thank you for your trust and we look forward to accompanying you in the realisation of your design visions.
